A Teacher Asks to be Taught about God

From CompassionNet Daily Prayer

Workers in Japan took an American volunteer to a school in Fukuoka. After some activities at the school, they were sitting in a local coffee shop, when one of the teachers from the school walked in. “He was not at all shy about joining us at our table,” the worker said. “We had a time to share with him.

“Two months later, at his request, one of us met him at the same coffee shop. It was the answer to one of our main prayers—that God would put us in contact with people who are seeking Him. This young man, whom we'll call T, was not interested in practicing English or talking about problems he has at school as a teacher. He wanted to talk about God! He said he wants to know God and that he does not think the Japanese concepts about God are right. Ask God to continue to keep T's heart open to seeking Him. Intercede for a good relationship to grow between T and the missionary. Pray that before the end of the year 2005, T will accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.”
