Jobs Scarce for Kazakhs

From the Beyond the Wall update

Five years ago, the government of China stopped automatically providing jobs for graduating university students. Finding a job in China can be a daunting task for any university graduate, but for Kazaks living in China, it is especially difficult. They are repeatedly told by employers that they are “un-hirable” because they are from a minority group. Employers only want to hire Han Chinese (the majority people) --no matter how skilled or well educated the Kazak students may be. Most Kazaks do not fight this, but just accept it as the reality, knowing they have neither the connections nor the bribery money necessary to get a job. Pray for justice to prevail in this society. Pray also for young believers who are recent graduates who have turned to God for help. As these believers pray for themselves and their friends to find jobs, ask God to show Himself faithful as their hope and provider, to His glory and as a witness of His love and power.
