Question 3: How can a student team
from my state participate on an international project?
Answer:
Your state collegiate staff can choose to reserve an entire
project for your state. In this situation, the Student Mobilization Team removes that entire project from the list
of available projects.
If you fill the team with students from different campuses
in your state, then the process of application and assignment
is the same as the process for individual students who apply
through your state program, i.e. students will apply for the
international positions you have reserved through your
states application process.
If the team comes from one campus or church, then you can
use the online
team registration which the team leader (collegiate minister)
can complete on behalf of the entire team.
As soon as your staff has assigned students to the international
positions, please send to the Student Mobilization Team office
an electronic copy the students application information
(studentteam@imb.org).
If you would like to change your reserved positions or you
are unable to fill the positions you reserved, please notify
the Student Mobilization Team ASAP.
A student team from your state can participate on an international
project that your state has not reserved simply by choosing
a project from the IMBs collegiate
project list and by e-mailing (jramirez@imb.org)
or calling (800) 789-4693 to reserve the selected project.
