Question 6: Can qualified candidates who apply for our state’s international positions, but who are not selected, still participate in international missions?

Answer:

Yes, absolutely. If your summer missions interview committee believes that the students who were not selected for your state’s positions are qualified candidates for international service, those students are still eligible for other collegiate positions through the IMB. Please forward the references for each candidate that you would recommend for another IMB position, with their name and applicant ID number, to the Student Mobilization Team, PO Box 6767, Richmond, VA 23230. Each student will be assigned to an international position that fits his/her gifting, experience and project preferences.
