Your team will model no-till farming for the rural farmers among the Bambara people. You will live in a village outside of Bamako, Mali. Your days will be filled preparing the fields, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. The natural resources of Africa are plentiful but the farming practices do not produce the much-needed food supply to support the population. You will teach farmers a new method of crop production and you will have opportunity to share your faith and disciple believers. Web Site: www.gobambara.org

They will use basketball, skateboarding, Ultimate Frisbee and/or soccer (indoor and outdoor) to build relationships with NAs in hopes of sharing Jesus with them. They will take French classes and practice in the community in order to build relationships. They will also map the areas of town where they find that NAs meet, hang out, etc. They will seek out NA university students and student groups.
PNL, in conjunction with CCC, is a distribution and prayer project. A team of summer staffers will serve the project by overseeing volunteer groups that will be coming throughout the summer in eleven day increments. Personnel will distribute Bibles and other Christian materials, pray and evangelize North Africans. Staff are expected to work 8 hours daily, sometimes starting as early as 3:45am. They need to be growing Christians and be physically fit, as there is a great deal of walking required. Web Site: www.pnlministry.wordpress.com

The 2010 soccer World Cup will be held in South Africa, providing an exciting way to use sports to gain access to communities to potentially plant churches. We have identified Dobsonville Stadium, one of the official team practice facilities, as an area needing a church start. The team will be involved in several ministries including soccer clinics, Bible clubs, street evangelism and drama. AIDS, drugs, unemployment, alchohol & cults are among the problems team members will encounter.

Come see God radically change lives in Shelly Beach where the wealthy take their vacations but just kilometers away teens do not know how to dream for their future. These Zulu/Xhosa teenagers are disillusioned with life due to broken homes, HIV, & poverty. Develop relationships through sport and life skills in rural schools. You will spend alot of time "hanging out" as you start Christian groups on campus. Use your personal relationship with Jesus to point them to their real future in HIM!
