You will work alongside a journeyman to develop relationships with the many people who work on and near the beaches/tourist areas in an effort to see Bible studies and churches started among them. Much of your day will be spent near the beach. You will use personal evangelism skills and teaching ESL to bring more people to Christ. You will be working with children and adults, using your personal gifts to reach local Hindus.
You will live in a Balinese community striving to build relationships and share the love of Christ by learning local language, eating local food and living as the locals live. Partnering with a national believer, you will teach English to children and University students through simple lessons, games and songs, and enhancing their conversational English. You will share the life and message of Christ through Bible Storying and serving humbly in the community. Web Site: www.nehemiahteams.com
To reach Roma families through working with their children: to teach character education to children (as a basis of pre-discipleship); and to lay a groundwork for sharing the gospel of Christ. This outreach time will be so important -- building relationships with the family to show what difference Christ makes in the lives of believers. This will be a time to show the practical aspects of following Jesus--how to live an ethical life day-by-day.
Villages in the beautiful Andes mountains are needing students to come teach Peruvian children English and in doing so weave the Gospel into it through Bible Stories. You and a small team will live in a village, build relationships with the children and their families. This will open opportunities to be in their homes and share the Truth with them. An intermediate level of Spanish is required. The Lord will use other gifts and talents that you have during your time in Peru. Web Site: www.reapnorthperu.org
Student summer missionaries are needed to participate in building and growing relationships with the mountain peoples of Northern Peru. You will be able to use your personal spiritual gifts as you minister. Intermediate level of spoken Spanish suggested. Web Site: www.reapnorthperu.org
Come and walk behind the great "M" (Judson) who kissed his mother and father goodbye forever, watched his wives and children leave for their heavenly home early because they were willing to die for the one cause worth dying, Jesus. Learn bridges that will help you get to the heart issues of Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Sihks, & Animists. Teach weekly in village schools, enter village homes and lives of people who are poor, desperate & without hope. Web Site: www.nehemiahteams.com
