From Chad in the Philippines

Much of my summer in the Philippines was crazy, but God was so FAITHFUL! We gave a back–to–school party for the students, and God totally met us. We prepared for 200 students while anticipating 50. Altogether 150 students showed up, including about 100 new students! It truly was a blessing! Many were interested in and signed up for the different ministry teams that we made available.

Not long after that I went to a mission point in the mountains. I preached with an interpreter for the first time during that ministry experience! God really opened up some cool doors!

Part of our time in Cebu also included a midterm on an island about a two-hour boat ride from Cebu called Bohol. It was so beautiful and untouched. The resort where we stayed was in the middle of nowhere, right on the water next to a perfect white–sand beach. Every day it was truly great to just sit and enjoy God’s creation. I am so thankful that God let me be a small part of what He is doing in Cebu, Philippines.
