Fusion builds a student’s personal responsibility and self-confidence through the assignment of significant tasks. Successful completion of a task brings gratitude and praise from teammates and leaders. Failure to complete a task results in serious consequences for the student and their teammates.  

The Fusion environment is a safe place to fail because no one can get physically hurt but the issue of failure can be clearly dealt with. Fusion teaches young people to deal positively with conflict by setting the stage for heated confrontations.

 

Everyone in Fusion personally learns to walk through the process of confrontation, repentance, forgiveness and restoration! From these simple learning experiences, Fusion students move on to greater responsibilities and tasks in the ministry including responsibilities where they literally hold each others’ lives in their hands.  

 

 

Fusion also instills a deep desire to develop personal spiritual disciplines in many different ways.   Students who come to Fusion memorize key passages of Scripture to guide their decision making and behavior.   Students learn many ways to share their faith cross-culturally and trans-religiously, giving them the tools they need to witness to people of other backgrounds, heritages and religions.
