Creation 2 Christ

language

Even though Hands On participants are not required to be fluent in a second language, everyday life in another country normally requires at least some language skill. Language learning resources are available from a variety of sources. Hands On participants may engage in language learning through free langauge learning resources at a local library, apps available for iphone and other cell phones, podcasts available through iTunes or Zune, and Rosetta Stone or Byki

college credit

Some college students obtain college credit for their service with IMB through the Hands On program. Participants are permitted to obtain college credit for Hands On ministry service when the required course work does not interfere with their Hands On ministry assignment. A full-time course load is intrusive to ministry and is not permissible. Only a college or university is able to grant college credit for service. Participants seeking college credit for their Hands On service should discuss this with their academic advisor.
