Brazil: Hunger for the gospel

A missionary couple serving in Brazil's Amazon River basin are amazed at how eager people are to hear the good news of God's love. When villagers see them coming, they get excited and start pulling out crude benches, boxes and broken chairs. "They listen so intently to the Bible stories," one worker said. "At one house, a lady gets down on the floor with her Bible and follows along in the Scripture." Praise God for hearts that are hungry to know him. Thank him for believers willing to obey his call and go wherever he leads. Ask him to reveal himself and Christ to these villagers.
