No Way for Kazakh Students
From Beyond the Wall prayer letter

A Christian Kazakh college student named S secretly met with believers for three years before having the courage to tell her mom that she had become a Christian. Now her parents forbid her to meet with other Christians. S’s brother, on the other hand, is a devout Muslim and studying to be a religious leader, but he is also fiercely persecuted by their parents. S describes the situation like this: “I am one way; my brother is another way, and my sister is no way. Only my sister is considered OK.” There is a war raging for the hearts of Central Asian students. One of their greatest influences—parents—often requires them to embrace secular materialism. Pray that the parents of Kazakh university students will instead pursue the truth and light of Jesus.
