More People Hate Me Than Ever Before

From CompassionNet Daily Prayer

T was the first to be baptized, to teach, to lead another to Christ, to baptize another, and now the first to be "separated for service" to Christ. This past month was the Harvest Hands Team's first experience of setting aside a very special friend for the mission that God has placed upon his life. T has shown in the past two years a growth that is both sincere and profound. It has not been easy. Many tell him that his difficulties, like his mother's illness and death this year, are because he's not attending a "real church" but meets in homes. T says, "I teach about love, while they only ridicule me, telling me that I am 'radical.' But I feel just fine and never did before in all my years. I know Jesus personally, and this is an intimate love I have with Him. More people than ever before seem to hate me or be mad at me, but I feel loved by Jesus and that is worth it all." Pray for T as he seeks to honor God.
