Lara’s Provision

Like many Lebanese, "Lara" was facing financial hard times. Being a new believer, she knew must trust in the Lord Jesus. Her little daughter's school tuition was overdue and the school had contacted her about the overdue fees. Later that night Lara prayed earnestly to God and asked for some possible way for her daughter to be able to stay in school.

The next morning she went to the school to apologize to the principal for not being able to pay. But to her surprise, as she was approaching him, he was smiling. The principal shared with Lara how he had just chosen her to be one of ten families to receive financial assistance coming from an outside organization who helps the poor.

Lara left the school rejoicing and praising God. She then remembered the passage that she had recently learned; Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all of these things shall be added unto you."
