Soooo God!
By a Student worker from Arkansas serving in South Asia
summer 2004
Things are going soooooo good here and I am
loving it more and more every day! Father has just taken
my hand and lead me through the most amazing adventure!!!
I was thinking today about how much time I have left here
and it isn't much. I leave my city in two weeks and South
Asia in three. WOW!! How time flies!!!!
A very cool thing that has just lifted my
heart so much was I got to share with two of the ladies
in our study at the children’s home and, well, all
I have to say is WE HAVE TWO NEW SISTERS!!!! How exciting
is that! It was the most amazing experience ever! I thank
my Father for letting me be a part of his work. These women
were so sweet and came to him just like children. Please
be thinking of them and us as we teach them where to go
from here in their walk. We only have two more weeks with
them! Praise our Father!!!
I have met a new friend who is from a high-class
family of a majority religion here. Her father asked if
I would meet his daughter, so I did. She is so nice! I shared
with her and she is soooooo confused. She has been taught
one way all of her life and now can not understand the concept
of one God. Please be thinking about her and her family.
I will go to meet with her family next week.
The state children’s home we have been
working in has told us that we can no longer speak about
our Book or tell stories out of it or we can not come back.
Father was really working there and YOU KNOW WHO is really
trying to mess that up. Please pray for the children here
that they may come to know Father’s love. That is
my heart for these children. They have never heard the name
of our Father and when we shared with them it was the first
time they had ever heard. They are very confused.
Every morning they go and think to dead gods
in hopes they can help them. They think all roads lead to
the same end. Pray that our Father will show us how to help
them understand his love and that he is the one and only.
I have learned that through these times our faith is made
stronger.
